Mixed Media Art, Poetry and the General Ramblings of a Domestic Abuse Survivor

Hello!
As a survivor of domestic abuse myself I know first hand just how theraputic art can be in working through the many issues and traumas lurking inside the brain. We are all so different so my approach to recovery will be totally different to yours so please don't view my site here as YOUR answer to moving on - we each have to find our own paths to recovery.

But, I do hope that you will find something I have made which does resonate with you.  Some will be funny, some will be very serious and highly charged or emotional but if you feel this helps you to move forward then I will be very happy to know I have helped you - or a friend of yours.

I have so many more items to list and I know I have taken AGES in getting around to adding them to my site.  I am also www.susanroseart.com so I am usually making jewellery or painting for that site.  But I haven't forgotten about you here, I promise.

I am getting a collection together of art dolls or as I like to call them, Past Spirits or Effigies.  You can hang them somewhere and stick pins in them when you are feeling somewhat stressed.  It worked for me! ;)
